I have been a Nail Tech for just over three years now. The first year I worked from my home. I soon discoverd that runing a nail salon from your home is difficult! It was hard to have people coming in and out all day, and I found my services took longer because I had to stop to anwser the phone, or deal with kids. I found a great salon, VERY close to home that was hiring a nail tech. I was so excited to move from a home based salon, into a full service salon! I got the job and have loved every minuet of it!
But, after two years I have I've decided to make a change. Being in a full-service salon, it's harder to build a strong nails clientel. I have a limited schedule right now, and the majority of the walk-ins are hair clients, not nails. It was a super hard decision to make. I love the Salon. I'm very close with the people I work with. But I think it's time to be somewhere new. I'm looking forward to working in a NAILS ONLY salon! I will be able to build a stronger clientel and work more during the hours I'm available. Here is my new information!
